Live boldly, laugh and make art

I am an onion.

I am an onion.

I had  several moles removed last week at the dermatologists.

Peel me, take away the outer layer that has started to rot. Check the cells to see if they are normal. Are the cells  in my moles mutating?  Are the cells malignant – diving into the deeper layers of my skin – sending out colonies to take over my other organs.

I am a purple onion.

  • I hope they have taken away all the bad stuff and that what’s left is all A-OK. I’m praying for you. And I’m thankful I get to read the words of such a powerful, expressive writer, too.

  • It’s scary when we wait for biopsy results, isn’t it? I hope everything turns out to be benign.

  • I hope you are like an onion – peel off the crusty stuff and there is good stuff, safe stuff, healthy stuff underneath.

  • So sorry to hear this, and hope all is well.

Thank you Stacie. It came back “severely abnormal”. I have to have more skin removed next week. Maybe I am more like moldy cheese.
