Four ways to tell you need more sleep


Do you wake up feeling rested?

Do you throw back the covers and leap out of bed?  Or you slowly pull back the covers and shuffle to the bathroom.

Maybe you need more sleep.

Four ways to tell you need more sleep

1. You fall asleep while you are typing.

2. You try to open the front door with your key remote.

3. You try to wash the dishes with your oven mitts and not your rubber gloves. 

4. You wear your slippers to the grocery store.

Can you think of anymore ways to tell you need more sleep?

Okay, I admit it, I have done all of these.  I have done some of them recently, and I have done them more than once.

    You try to open your car door with your work badge

  • You can’t find your reading glasses, and you’re wearing them. You get sick too often, have trouble losing weight, and chronic pain has become a way of life. Hmmm. I think I’ll go to bed early tonight. (Not that that will do much good, buuut…)

      Hello Debbie. Did you get to bed early? I hope your chronic pain is gone, you lose weight, and you remember your reading glasses are on your face.

    Of course, to fall asleep when someone is talking to you is embarrassing, whether you are bored or not!

      Sue, yes I have fallen asleep talking to someone and listening to someone. I have fallen asleep in the middle of reading a book out loud. Yes, very embarrassing. Thank you for commenting. 🙂

    Ever fall asleep mid-sentence when speaking to someone?? Or when they are talking to you (and you are NOT bored)? So embarrassing!
