I just came in from mowing the lawn to tell you I am not writing today. I can not concentrate. All I can do today is mow the lawn.
I know you are reading words I typed. But. I am not writing.
I am complaining.
The basement is a mess again. I have weeds in my garden and I can’t concentrate.
Yesterday I ate half of a Oat’s n honey CRUNCHY granola bar. I did not read the label on the back of the package. Just a minute, I will get one of the bars from the pantry. The Oat’s n honey CRUNCHY granola bar has twelve grams of sugar. I ate eight grams of sugar yesterday! Now I know why I can’t concentrate today. My brain cells take a nap when I eat sugar. They go back to bed and hide under the covers. I had no brain today to write. Only the brain cells that mow lawns were active today.
I am going back outside now to finish mowing the lawn. I overlap the wheels when I mow the lawn. If you don’t overlap the wheels you leave strips of grass. I will do it right the first time.
And the next time I am tempted to eat half of an Oat’s n honey CRUNCHY granola bar I will remember to read the label on the back of the package. I need all of my brain.
I will leave now and mow more straight lines.
Tomorrow will be a better day.
