When you look in the mirror what do you think? Do you think, Wonderful? Do you think, I am worthy. I am loved, or are the words you use negative? How would you describe yourself?
When you spilled coffee yesterday did you think, Hey not to worry, it’s just coffee, or did you think, I am worthless, I messed up again, I can’t do anything right.
Be nice to yourself.
Spilled coffee is just, spilled coffee. Wipe it up, forgive yourself, and pour another cup.
Be gracious to yourself. Treat yourself like you are your own best friend.
And remember. You are wonderful, as in: marvelous, magnificent, superb, glorious, sublime, lovely, delightful, super, great, fantastic, terrific, tremendous, sensational, incredible, fabulous, fab, awesome, far out, brilliant, peach, dandy, neat and swell.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
So the next time, someone says something unkind to you, let the words bounce off of you. You don’t have to absorb them, like your jeans absorb the spilled coffee.
And, if the negative soundtrack tries to come back, the one with all the negative words, from your past, from today, replace it with the song, “I am wonderful. I am wonderful. I am wonderful.”
The song will be the one you create now, as you dance around your kitchen, singing The Wonderful song.
I was going to list some negative words, but I decided against it. Negative words can stay in the dictionary sandwiched between delightful and lovely. Lets not give them anymore air time.
Make your own day special. You are loved. You are worthy and you are wonderful.
Really, you are. ( Now I am going to go and sing in my kitchen as I clean up the mess from last nights dishes, do a load of laundry, and clean the seven litter boxes.)
