Hanging on the wall, in the room I paint and write in, is a metal sign; it says You Got This.

According to the online Cambridge Dictionary, you/you’ve got this, is an idiom, mainly US, and informal. It is used to tell someone that you believe they can or will succeed in dealing with something.
I bought the sign because I wasn’t sure that I could or would succeed at my this. And I wanted a better conversation with myself.
The sign reminds me to believe.
And.
I want to say the same thing to you.
You got this.
I don’t know what your this is. But. You got this.
I believe in you. I believe you can and will succeed in dealing with something.
“Never forget that once upon a time, in an unguarded moment, you recognized yourself as a friend.”
Elizabeth Gilbert
When you look in the mirror I hope you recognize yourself as a friend.
Please be kind to yourself.
Encourage yourself.
Be a friend to yourself.
And know that you matter and are deeply loved.
By me, and the one who made you.
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Psalm 139:13-14 NIV
