Do you know what is important to you? What goals will you finish?
Last week I wrote, If you want to finish your goals do this and not that…
How has that gone for you? Does not talking about your goals help you be motivated to finish them? If you decide to work on unfinished projects, how do you choose which project to finish?
What is important to you?
Would knowing what is important to you, help you decide what creative projects to finish?
Can you summarize in one word, what is important to you? Or maybe you need seven words?
On June 18th, 2013, what was important to me was spending time with my daughter. She was ten and wanted me to spend time with her. I did.
Today, June 17th, 2024, my daughter doesn’t play Littlest Pet Shop anymore, she doesn’t live with me, and I don’t see her every day. She is important to me, and when she needs me I am there. May my words and my actions always be in alignment.
What is important to me today?
Love?
Kindness?
Courage?
Hope?
Time?
Always my children.
Family.
Friends.
The answer to the above question will help me decide what creative projects to finish.
What goals will you finish?
I don’t have the answer for you. Only you can decide what you value.
And as you are thinking about what is important to you, please remember, you are loved by a big God. You are enough.
