Have you read the book, Don’t Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table, It’s Time To Win The Battle Of Your Mind, by Louie Giglio? It was published in 2021. I started reading it this morning.
I had invited the enemy to sit at my table without realizing it.
After infidelity and divorce, I sometimes think that he cheated because something was wrong with me…. Even though I know his cheating shows his lack of character… Not my worth…
May we always know our value and how much God loves us.
Having an “Even Though … I will Faith”
Giglio writes on page 15, “When Life turns hard for us, we’re almost always tempted to welcome the Enemy at our table. But when we realize that Jesus invites us to follow Him even though life is hard, we discover the foundational truth for winning the battle for our minds.”
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.

Psalm 23
After reading the first two chapters in Don’t Give The Enemy A Seat At Your Table, I printed out Psalm 23 a few minutes ago and will carry it in my pocket, read it at traffic lights, and memorize it.
A Psalm of David. NKJV
23 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the [c]still waters.
3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
Yes, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are enough. Jesus loves you. Me too.
